About Me

I hold a BA (Hons) Degree in Photography from Falmouth University and have been drawn to capturing images for as long as I can remember. Photography has always been more than a skill to me—it is the way I observe, understand, and connect with the world around me.

I am deeply interested in visual storytelling, using images to capture authentic moments and reveal the narratives that exist within everyday life. My work is driven by curiosity and a desire to showcase the unique, overlooked, and intriguing details of the world we live in. Through photography, I aim to create images that not only document moments, but also evoke emotion, spark conversation, and offer new perspectives.

Previous work

I’ve had the privilege of working with a diverse range of clients, including political parties, newspapers, and individuals. My portfolio reflects a strong dedication to capturing each client’s unique story and events, ensuring their vision is portrayed with creativity and professionalism.

As well I have been fortune to display my work in Art galleries. inscape 2025 where I displayed my Waterside Wonders project. In 2026 Unveiled London where I had the opportunity to show my Cynefin Project.

My Code of Ethics

As a photographer, I believe that ethical practice is an important part of creating honest, respectful and responsible work. Photography gives me the ability to influence how people, places and stories are seen, and I take that responsibility seriously. These are the principles I aim to follow throughout my practice.

Transparency & Consent

I will be open and honest about what I am photographing, where the work will be presented and how the images may be used. I believe subjects should understand the purpose of a project and how their image may contribute to it. Consent is an important part of my practice. Agreeing to have a photograph taken does not automatically mean agreeing to every possible use of that image. I will clearly communicate how photographs will be used and, where appropriate, allow subjects to withdraw their consent if they change their mind.

Environmental Responsibility

I consider the environmental impact of how I produce my work and look for ways to minimise it wherever possible. When photographing the natural environment, I will avoid unnecessarily disturbing wildlife or altering their surroundings. This includes not moving, handling or interfering with wildlife simply to create a photograph.

Communication and Research

I believe responsible photography begins with understanding the subject. I will research the topics, communities and environments I photograph and, where appropriate, communicate with subjects, specialists and people with relevant knowledge. This helps me understand the story I am documenting and reduces the risk of misrepresentation.

Publication and Image Use

I retain ownership of my photographic work while recognising that my images may contain identifiable people. I am happy to allow subjects to use photographs of themselves for personal, non-commercial purposes where appropriate. Commercial use will require my permission and agreement.

Accountability

Ultimately, I am responsible for the images I create, the people I photograph and the stories I choose to tell. I will continue to reflect on my practice and adapt these principles as my understanding of photography and its responsibilities develops.
